Condor
Dekogrund 16
- Under structural materials.
- For "wet" insulation systems.
- Winter preservation of facades.
- With quartz filler.
Properties Universal primer with quartz filler for subsequent application of structural materials. - Strengthens the surface. - Good adhesion to various types of surfaces. - Increases the adhesion of structural materials to the base by creating a strong rough structural surface with a fine pattern. - Significantly facilitates and reduces the cost of applying and modeling finishing structural materials. - Simplifies the process of forming a "pattern" of structural decorative plasters. - Facilitates the application of liquid wallpaper. - Has good vapor permeability and water resistance. - The use of a primer on external surfaces reduces the overall water absorption capacity of the substrate, since water that penetrates through defective areas of the structural plaster is retained by the primer layer. - Prevents the appearance of stains on the surface of plasters due to the characteristics of the substrate. - Water-soluble, white. - Due to the content of white pigment, it evens out the color background of the surface and increases the coverage of the finishing layer of the material. - Has no unpleasant odor. - For interior and exterior work. CLASSIFICATION ACCORDING TO THE STANDARD DSTU EN 1062-1:2012. DSTU EN 1062-1:2012 | E4 | S2 | V2 | W2 | A0 | С0. Purpose It is used as an adhesive coating for the subsequent application of mineral plasters, dispersion acrylic plasters and putties, structural and smooth paints, liquid wallpaper, as well as for the preparation of protective and reinforcing layers (in "wet" thermal insulation systems) for finishing. Can be used for winter preservation of plastered facades. Can be used indoors as an independent structural decorative coating or in combination with smooth paints, structural paints, putties TM Condor or TM Eskaro, as well as with acrylic water-dispersion decorative varnishes and paints. Types of surfaces for application Interior and exterior works: Any mineral bases: concrete, cement-lime, cement-sand plasters, brick, protective and reinforcing layers in "wet" thermal insulation systems, etc. Interior works: Smooth, durable new and previously painted with enamel or oil paint bases: plasterboard, hard fiberboard, chipboard, plywood, etc.

Surface preparation
The surface must be dry, clean and have sufficient load-bearing capacity. Thoroughly remove dirt, flaking, weak, crumbling areas and substances that reduce the adhesion of the primer to the base (salts, dust, fats, oils, etc.). Fill cracks and potholes and seal with a suitable repair mortar or putty. Treat weak, porous or dusty surfaces with Condor TM or Eskaro TM strengthening primer before applying Condor Dekogrund 16. Treat metal parts with an anti-corrosion primer. Treat surfaces previously painted with enamel or oil paint with sandpaper, clean from flaking coating and dust that has formed. Fresh lime-cement surfaces should be aged for at least one month before priming. Mineral plasters can be applied 5 days after priming. Areas on the facade affected by mold or moss must be thoroughly cleaned mechanically, treated with BIOTOL (or BIOTOL Spray) and dried.
Application
Mix before use. Before priming large areas with tinted primer, mix a sufficient amount of primer in one container. Apply at ambient and base temperatures above +10 ºС. When applying the primer as an adhesive coating, apply with a foam or fur roller, brush.
When used indoors as an independent structural material, apply the primer in 1-2 layers with a structural foam roller. To reduce primer consumption and increase coverage before applying it, it is recommended to paint the surface with one layer of smooth, washable matte paint that is tinted to the color of the finish coating. In this case, it will be sufficient to apply one layer of primer on top. To obtain various decorative surfaces after applying the primer with a foam structural roller, you can use textured rollers, brushes, spatulas and other tools for 10-15 minutes. After complete drying, the resulting textured surface can be applied with appropriate water-dispersion materials (paints, varnishes) TM Condor, TM Eskaro for additional decorative effect.
Working tools
Foam, fur, structural roller. Brush.
Cleaning tools
Rinse with water immediately after use. Dried primer is cleaned mechanically.
Copolymer acrylic dispersion, pigment, quartz sand, fillers, functional additives, water.
Precautions
During work, follow general occupational hygiene rules. Work in a ventilated area, wear work clothes, gloves. Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water. The primer is fire and explosion-proof.
Disposal
The remains of dried primer should be disposed of as household waste, polymer containers should be collected for recycling or disposed of as household waste.
