Properties Ready-to-use water-repellent agent. - Water-repellent. - Prevents surface contamination. - Resistant to atmospheric influences. - Prevents the appearance of efflorescence. - Increases the thermal insulation properties of the treated surface. - Prevents the formation of internal microcracks in mineral bases. - Increases the frost resistance of cement-sand and concrete bases. - Alkali-resistant, treatment of fresh cement bases is possible. - Can be used for winter preservation of plastered facades. - Increases the service life of finishing materials and building structures. - Colorless, transparent or slightly cloudy. - Does not change and preserves the appearance (gloss and color) of the treated surface. - Resistant to household detergents. - Reduces the possibility of the appearance of microflora (mold, moss, lichens and algae) on the surface. - Penetrates well into hygroscopic (absorbent) surfaces. - Based on water-soluble organosilicon compounds. - Vapor-permeable, gas-permeable. - Further application of water-dispersion materials (primers, paints, plasters) to the surface treated with a water repellent is possible (6 months after application). - The hydrophobic effect appears after the treated surface has completely dried and persists for a long time. - The duration of the hydrophobic effect is reduced in case of severe mechanical damage to the top layer of the treated surface. Purpose Composition for surface hydrophobization of absorbent (hygroscopic) bases: mineral surfaces of all types, plasters, surfaces painted with facade water-dispersion structural and "smooth" paints. Ready to use. Main purpose: finishing treatment of bases to give them water-repellent properties. Can be used for winter preservation of plastered facades. For external and internal works. Grover SWR 601 is not intended for: for strengthening the surface as a primer, for arranging cut-off waterproofing, for waterproofing basements, for waterproofing from soil moisture, for waterproofing from seepage or surface water, for waterproofing from water under pressure. Types of surfaces for application Concrete, aerated concrete, foam concrete, expanded clay concrete, cement-sand plaster (including decorative plaster), sandstone, marble, limestone, gypsum, tuff, shell rock, as well as other artificial and natural finishing stones; asbestos cement, cement-chipboard, cinder block, brick (facing, silicate, clinker, "burnt red"), paving slabs, slate, roof tiles, polymer (acrylic)-based plasters, facade water-dispersion structural and "smooth" paints.

Surface preparation

The surface must be solid, dry and clean. Thoroughly remove dirt, flaking, weak areas of the base that are crumbling, as well as substances that reduce penetration into the base (dust, fats, oils, etc.). If there are efflorescences on the surface, remove them mechanically or using special means. If there are microflora on the surface (mold, moss, lichens and algae), remove them mechanically, and then treat with a special anti-mold agent (e.g. Grover AM1
or Eskaro Biotol). Fill cracks and potholes and seal with a suitable repair solution or putty. To strengthen a weak mineral base, it is recommended to treat it with a water-dispersion acrylic primer TM AURA or TM Eskaro. Surfaces painted with facade paints should be finished 4 weeks after their application.

Application

Mix before use. During storage, a small insoluble precipitate may form, which does not reduce the action of the active water-repellent substance. Apply with a roller, brush or spray. Treat surfaces until completely saturated using the "wet-on-wet" method. Avoid puddles, drips and drops during treatment. Remove excess with a rag. Repeated treatment of a dried layer of water-repellent may result in the appearance of a white coating. Work should be carried out at ambient and base temperatures from +5 ºС to +30 ºС. It is recommended to first test the water-repellent for compatibility with the base and the effectiveness of the treatment on a small area in an inconspicuous place.
Attention! It is forbidden to carry out work during rain, fog, frost, strong wind, as well as in direct sunlight. If the water-repellent gets on plants, it can damage them. If there are plants near the treated surface, as well as glass (or glazed tiles), plastic, aluminum and most metals, they must be protected before surface treatment (for example, covered with foil). If the water repellent gets on such surfaces, they must be immediately washed with plenty of water.

Storage conditions
Precautions During work, follow general occupational hygiene rules. Xi - Irritant. R22 - Harmful if swallowed. R38 - Causes skin irritation. R41 - Risk of serious damage to eyes. S2 - Keep out of reach of children. S24/25 - Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Work in a ventilated area, in work clothes, rubber gloves, safety glasses. When spraying, use a respirator, prevent the formation of an aerosol cloud, apply from the windward side. S23 - Do not breathe aerosol. S26 - In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. In case of contact with skin, rinse with water. To neutralize the effect of the product, use table vinegar. The product is fire and explosion-proof. Disposal Dispose of the remaining liquid water repellent to hazardous waste storage areas. The remains of the dried water repellent and the container must be disposed of as household waste.

Store and transport in undamaged original packaging at temperatures from +5 ºС to +35 ºС. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.
