Surface preparation before painting
The painted surface must be thoroughly cleaned of loose material, dirt and dust. Surfaces previously painted with enamel or oil paint should be sanded with sandpaper until matte. Heavily soiled or greasy surfaces should be washed with a 3-5% soda solution, then rinsed with water and dried. Cracks and potholes should be filled with a suitable putty (Fine Filler, Aqua Filler, etc.). Porous and dusty surfaces should be treated with Aquastop moisture insulator.
Application
Mix the paint thoroughly before use. For the first coat, the paint can be diluted with water up to 5% by volume. Apply in 2 coats with a roller or spray gun at a temperature of 10-25°C and a relative humidity of no more than 80%. In case of painting work under adverse conditions (drafts, use of heating devices, high temperature or low humidity), we recommend using the Time + drying agent.
Caring for the painted surface
For 3-4 weeks from the moment of application of the paint, until it acquires its final hardness and wear resistance, handle the surface with care. For washing, we recommend using water, neutral and medium alkaline detergents (pH up to 9). Do not use organic solvents, abrasive cleaning agents, as well as hard sponges and brushes. Strong friction can make the surface glossy. To remove mold, use Biotol and Biotol Spray. For cleaning, use soft sponges and cloths. If necessary, the surface can be lightly cleaned with a soft sponge or cloth approximately 2 days after application.
