Surface preparation before painting
The painted surface must be thoroughly cleaned of loose material, dirt and dust. Surfaces previously painted with enamel or oil paint should be sanded to a matte finish. Heavily soiled or greasy surfaces should be washed with a 3–5% soda solution, then rinsed with water and dried. Fill cracks and potholes with a suitable filler (Face Filler, Fine Filler, etc.). Surfaces that are frequently wetted and prone to mold should be treated with Biotol E or Biotol Spray before painting. Porous and porous surfaces should be treated with Aquastop moisture insulator.
Application
Stir the paint thoroughly before use. For the first coat, the paint can be diluted with water up to 5% by volume and the relative humidity should not exceed 80%. If painting is carried out under adverse conditions (drafts, use of heating devices, high temperature or low humidity), we recommend using the Time + drying agent.
Caring for the painted surface
The coating will reach its final wear resistance after approximately 4 weeks - during this time, handle the surface carefully until it acquires its final hardness and wear resistance. If necessary, the surface can be easily cleaned with a soft sponge or cloth approximately 2 days after application. We recommend using water, neutral and medium alkaline detergents (pH up to 9) to wash the painted surface. Do not use organic solvents, abrasive cleaners, or hard sponges and brushes. Strong friction can make the surface glossy. We recommend using Biotol and Biotol Spray to remove mold.
